What to do with a broody hen on unfertile egg

I have a hen that has been in her nest for 4 days. I feel so bad...she was the instinct to hatch an egg..but we have
no rooster.
What do we do? I took the eggs away and today I put her outside by herself to freerange..
It seems that my eggs count in down ...does her brooding effect the rest of the gals?

Why don't you get her some fertile eggs to hatch and increase your flock?

If you are asking how to stop a hen from being broody, put her in a wire cage with an open screen bottom. The cool air underneath stops them. This could take many days depending of factors, like air temperature, hen type, etc.
