i have a soft egg that managed to not get broken yet. what do i do with it? is it safe to eat (i would assume yes)?

My friend said her dad used to poach his eggs that he got from a particular chicken that only had the membrane, no shell. I would think a soft shell egg would be ok as long as not really dirty or sat in nest for long period.

They creep me out so I feed them to the dogs

Depends on how long it has been sitting. Since there is no shell, I would think it is very susceptible to bacteria contamination. That being said, I am not a germophobe. Break it into a little container to use for baking, or cook it very thoroughly (no runny yolk).

i ended up not doing anything with for a few days, and it kind of deflated. it was weird. i ended up jut throwing it out.
