Title sums it up. Went out and noticed that one of my hens has coryza like face. What do I do with her pen mates? Cull her leave the rest? If I leave the rest do I wait thirty days to replace her to see if any others show symptoms? If I cull the others that aren't showing symptoms do I just bury/burn them like I will with her? Or eat them? I feel so terrible about this whole thing. I am very lucky that I have only one male and two other females with her but since that is half my breeders it does suck but it isn't as bad as having a whole flock. After I eliminate the problem how would I go about sanitizing a wire cage? Thanks in advance!

They should be safe to eat however if we are only talking 4 birds I'd just cull & burn. Eating a sick bird would turn my stomach. I think it would anyhow. Even tho I already know these things carry other diseases and parasites I'm able to put that part out of my mind. So I might make a different decision this time around. But when it happened to me a few years ago I culled them all & destroyed them. There was enough that could have filled a kitchen freezer.
