what are some of the things you do with eggs?
Besides the obvious eating, boiling, frying....etc......

Such as, can you dehydrate and store eggs at all, or anything like that?

What do some of you do with your eggs?

We have about 35 egg laying hens and we sell there eggs

but my bantys we have about 20+ of'em and we pickle there eggs...yum!

i know didn't really answer your question... but i thought you should know anyway

I haven't tried it, but I hear you can freeze eggs. Break them in a bowl, scramble them up, then put into a freezer safe bowl. Thaw in the refrigerator for use.

Hope that helps!

Starting this Friday, I'm going to stand out in my driveway with an egg sign at dinner time

You can also look under recipes, eggs, chicken and get alot of ideas.

I have seen people sell eggs on craig's list... in my area, they are asking $3 a dozen.

If anything put a sign on your mailbox (if you have one at the end of your driveway) or gate to let folks know you have eggs for sale and then you don't have to stand in the heat of summer selling eggs... SMILE!

Some people blow them out and decorate them for collector items. I never had any luck trying it. I guess I'm not talented, but there are some really beautifully decorated eggs out there.

I tried to plan the number of chicks to their average laying rate to supply enough for my family and a few extras for giveaways to keep the neighbors happy.
