What to do with excess chicks?

Quite a bit for a mix.

Rare/Critically Endangered breeds like Malay, I'd charge about $30 - $35 per chick.
Perhaps prices are higher because we don't have rare breeds? There are only around 8 breeds of chickens to choose from around here. Prices get really high if you want show quality birds. I saw day old Silkie chicks being sold for $40 because parents won some show or another.

Prices can be pretty high for show birds here too. $40 a chick seems a bit much though. I price according to how common, or rare the breed is.

I will have I think 1 excess chick hatch, what to do with it? I dont know what to do
I always like to count the worst cenario possible. not worst when it comes to chicken hatching, but in this case id act like all 6 eggs would hatch, and not expect 2. That way i can make atleast a bigger thing, and if all hatch, im already prepared! Not sure if thats what your saying though *dont think it is* . But to answer your question, how could you have 1 excess? You mean one you dont want? If so, i suppose id try selling it or raise it for produce.
