You'd be amazed at what a coon can get into. As a boy many years ago I watched a racoon get on top of our metal trash can, and roll the large cinderblock we had sitting on top, off the side with no real effort at all. When I keep feed in a barn or shed I always put iit n galvanized metal trash cans. No use encouraging mice, or other rodents.
