Due to weather conditions I will be processing my 24 broilers this weekend and will probably have at least 25 lbs. of organic chick grower (16% protein) left over. Can I feed this (in small amounts) to my layer flock over time to get rid of it? Even a cup or two a day for the 10 hens would eventually use it up. I could supplement extra calcium, of course.
