What to do with my roosters

I'm new to raising chickens and this spring I had a hen go broody so I tried hatching some eggs with great success. Problem is I think 5 of my 8 are roosters and where I live we cannot have them, only hens. I cannot bring myself to slaughtering them and have been unsuccessful at finding them homes on Facebook. Does anyone know how I can find them new homes? I have a cuckoo maran, black and a blue maran, and olive egger, as well as a cross I'm not sure of. I love in CT. Thanks!
 
You could post an add on craigslist(thats what ive always used) or in the social section of the BYC forum there is a swap section where you can trade with other people. Or in the where am i where are you sectiom of the forum you could find your state and post pics and details of your roos amd someone may want them.

So sorry about the problem. This is an issue many folks face since most with small flocks are allowed or only want pullets.

Good luck with finding those fellows a new home.
 
Craigslist is the way, we use it religiously and sell 100+chicks a week from it alone as well as get rid of any roosters! Put them in for FREE and watch good homes find them!
