That's what I was wondering. But I think your removing the sheath thing and inside is the new one.There appears to be something left behind though. I mean, what are you removing, just the keratin sheath? What's left behind looks bloody and raw, isn't it painful or tender? Is it the quick? Does the sheath grow back?
