What to do with silkie roosters

If I can't sell or give away to someone to care for them, I will butcher, skin and clean, then cook it up and feed it to the flock. I have a problem eating dark flesh. Besides, it is small for table use, and my girls can always use a protein boost.

Just curious why you can't eat dark flesh. Does it taste different?
 
Asian folks just love silkie meat, they say it has medicinal properties. I don't know if that is true but they prize the meat. To me just looking at the dark greyish black meat on a plate is way gross, and I will eat almost anything. Anyway just find or ask around any Oriental friends or neighbors and you make a pretty Yuan $ for them.

I don't mind the dark flesh. It tastes the same--and some of my EEs have had dark-er meat too. Wigged me out the first time, but then it smelled soooo yummy i plum forgot about it.
