What to do with this sweet heart?

I think that most of us had a " special" needs chicken. Sounds as though you are well aware that she will require a little extra care. She's a very lucky chicken! It is so nice to know that there are " like minded" people here on this wonderful site, BYC.

Keep up the great way you are looking after her! I too had a crossed beak chick (Crosbie) and she was the most amazing chick I ever had the pleasure to have known... it seems as though their character shines through their disability... make sure she has a deep container to eat from as she will have difficulty to eat from a standard container. Enjoy her!

Thank you, I feel very blessed! Really very lucky to have happend upon her at the place and time I did. I saw her right away.. but I was there for other chickens.... a ways from where she was kept. On the way out the lady said I have one you can have if you want... and she was the one... the one that I first saw and noticed when I got there out of all the chickens... I would have come for her alone had I known. I traded homemade jelly for her and two laying hens... I'd have traded it all for her alone she is incredible.
