What to do?

As Easter is coming up I know that they’ll certainly will be parents getting chicks and it all be good and happy until they lose interest and the chicks will go up on Craigslist .So now the question I have is should I wait and adopt chickens from Craigslist that will need a home or just get some chickens now

Depends, are you ready for birds now? The chickens on Craigslist may be pricey or sick, can you handle that? Do you have a Vet you can go to if you receive a bad bird?

I’m going to be a first time chicken owner once I get the chickens but my mother says no baby chicks so I don’t know where else to get chickens other then Craigslist

Perhaps someone could raise them for you? I am planning on providing a system where I raise your birds and then give them to you as adults. You pay for feed, the chicks and give me some money for the work and you get full grown birds. Maybe someone near you could try this?

My friend was going to do this but I’m not sure my coop will be done in time she has to give them away plus they’ll be 2 weeks old when she’s going to get rid of them which would be probably too early for them to go outside and my mother doesn’t want any baby chicks

Not sure now trustworthy chickens would be on craigs list. Don't you have a tractor supply store near? or you can always use mail order to get chickens, I have never purchased off craigs list....
