What to expect, hatch rate...after 7 day candling?

Saturday we candled our eggs and 36 of the 39 set appear to be fertile. What should I expect at hatching? How many usually hatch after checked fertile? Granted everything stays good with temp/humidity.

There is no standard answer to that. Each situation is different... some embryo's are stronger, some have a genetic defect that won't show until later. Hatch can be affected by malposition, chick too wet, too dry, too big, not absorbing yolk fast enough, temp spikes, drops... and then there's the GORK: (a highly complex medical term that translates: God only really knows)

I candled 24 sunday at day 8 and 23 appeared to be good. This is my first hatch as well. Hope all goes well with them and everyone else's to! God luck to all.

That sounds like a good start. When is your expected hatch date ? We are looking at the 22nd as being the 21st day

And yes, it's nerve-wracking! I am always worried about the temp and humidity being right.
