I've never had to buy chickens. I have inherited two bantam x red shaver and a red shaver x orpington from different places.
Until one day i fell in love with a little silkie chick at the A&P show and so bought her for my broody orpington. the following year i went back to find a rooster for my sweet Gertrude Mc Fuzz but the closest thing i could only find an equally beautifully young polish rooster. 4 months later and he has started to crow but I don't know what to expect in the way of chicks? will a little polish rooster breed with all of my girls?
