Thank you for responding.If it is impacted crop you will feel a bunch of stuff in there, almost like if you put feed into a balloon, but it sounds like she hasn't eaten in a while.
You might be right. I’m going to keep trying liquids and the methods I’ve read on BYC. I may check in again thank youSure thing. I have been there, it is really hard.
I'm not sure that the crop being impacted was what caused her to be so sick. Most likely it was just the symptom of another more serious issue. I have seen hens run around happily with impacted crops for so long that they were as big as a softball, so I am guessing something else is at play.
