What to feed chicks and when?

I have 8 chicks that are 8 days old. Wondering if anyone has a list of what can be fed to them, and at what age? Not what type of food, but when should I introduce treats, insects, grass clippings, grit, etc etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think the rule of thumb is to give them only scrambled and hard-boiled eggs unless they have access to grit. Then its okay to give them whatever they want as long as it's not so much that they stop eating the chick starter; they get everything they really need from their chick starter, so if we overfeed treats all the time they might be missing something. Anyone more experienced want to weigh in?
