I know that but she is attacking the chickJust leave the broody mama and the eggs alone. Touching them during hatch is the worst thing to do. The more you touch and higher the chances that they end up crushed or injured.
Take the chick away from her before she kills it.
Good job.I did
Agreed but sounds like at this point it's too late for that, unfortunately.Just leave the broody mama and the eggs alone. Touching them during hatch is the worst thing to do. The more you touch and higher the chances that they end up crushed or injured.
The incubator will do as a temporary measure but do you have somewhere you can set up as a brooder? You'd generally need a heat lamp or heat plate but I have no idea how warm it is where you are.I just moved it to the incubator, mama's still on egg3 and egg4
I have a brooder, I put a spray chick wound thing on it it getting betterAgreed but sounds like at this point it's too late for that, unfortunately.

How badly is the chick injured and what have you done so far?
Can you post a picture of the chick as it is now that clearly shows its injuries, and also a picture of your brooder setup?I have a brooder, I put a spray chick wound thing on it it getting better
