I have 14 chicks ranging ages between 10days-7weeks. I am getting ready to add 3 pullets who just started laying I believe. My chicks are on purina medicated chick starter crumbles but what do I do with the new girls?

The layers will need calcium. If you can't segregate them you'll have to feed the entire flock a grower ration and provide crushed oyster shell in a separate container so the layers can have free choice. Otherwise you'll probably have shell problems.

Also, you'll need to quit the medicated. You shouldn't eat eggs from medicated birds.

To medicate or not is a personal choice but I never medicate any birds. Medicated feed is only for 1 disease - Cocciodosis. With limited exposure to this disease, which is everywhere, birds will immunize.
