Hello everyone, this is my second post. I have done many reading about what to feed ringneck pheasant. Lots of people mentioned to feed them gamebirds feeds and green vegetations such as grasses, vegetables and fruits. However I would like to know exactly what kind of vegetables and fruits I can give them.

(I have a farm of chickens, turkeys, Muscovy and pheasants).

Thank you for all your help.

Hi Stella Mon and welcome to BYC. You can give them pretty much any vegetable, don't give them avocado, it can kill them. Berries, bits of apple, tomatoes, celery, unsalted peanuts. I give mine 24% crumbles year round, mixed grains consisting of barley, milo, cracked corn, red wheat and black oil sunflower seed. Their pens are large enough and planted with a variety of grasses and native weeds, so i don't supplement with vegetables, except if it's a hard winter...then it's more of a treat.
Try treating them with a variety to see what they like, some may like a particular veg and others may like a different one. HTH and Good Luck.
