Funny thing about oatmeal, they like it dry, but mom fixes it for us every morning, they wont eat cooked oatmeal. Strange chickens. Everyone else says their chickens like it, so we keep tryin an tryin to give em the leftovers inthe mornin and boy, do we turn up our beaks. But try having a taco without sharing..your name is mud! They used to hate yogurt too, but havent tried it in a while.
Yea, I know with the hunger strike thing, I was genuinely scared as those last two days I didnt even give her any snacks or treats, trying to get her to eat it.
Knowing how fast a chicken can go from seeming healthy to starving to death...from experience, thats why I let it go.
Try different brands tho, like i said, friend gave me some from grain elevator, which looks like I might have to get mine from there, and she loves it. Not sure what brand that is tho.
