What to feed?

Currently I have 2 hens that are 3 years old. I have 11 chicks that are 12 weeks old. I need to put the older girls in with the new girls. New girls on chick starter - will it be a problem for the old girls to eat the chick feed? Will it kill them?

Is the chick feed medicated? If not, go ahead and feed it to the elders until you use it up. I give all my chickens of all ages Purina Flock Raiser, from chicks to roosters to hens. There are other all flock feeds as well. Since feed is perishable, it makes sense to feed everyone the same kind.
