You'll probably get more answers if you post this in Managing Your Flock.

If your chicken is old enough to lay eggs, buy a big old bag of layer feed - I'd go organic. Roosters can eat it as well. You can supplement its food with yogurt, greens, scrambled egg, bugs, etc.

Do you only have one chicken? Chickens really need company. Find yourself another chicken! Or better still, two

It helps also to give enough information when posting, such as how old your chickens are, what your situation is.

hens that are laying eggs get layer feed. roosters can eat it to.
chicks need chick starter till they are laying or for roos i usually switch feed at 7 months old
