What to put at the Bottom of Duck run?

I like it very much. Do you just hose it off to clean? I’m just looking for a better way myself.

Update***

A little update about my post.

I now use wood chips instead of straw for the dry half of the coop. The straw would not work for garden use as it would grow what the straw was from. The wet side I first had pebbles and concrete pavers for steps to the bathtub. The ducks kept getting bumblefoot. So we put fake turf over the rocks and pavers and no more bumble foot. However, I would use fake turf with caution. They will eat some and you do need to free range if you have it in your coop. I do not reccomend fake turf for ducks that live in a run 24/7.
