What to put in the duck run....

Alrighty guys, i converted my chicken run into a duck run since i gave my girls away, and now i have some Aussie Spotted ducks in the bator

. But anyways i have pebbles and a pond with a waterfall and monkey grass inside the run, is there anything else i should put in there, like a loarge log or another plant, Any ideas are appreciated

Do you have anything for shelter? Something to protect them form extreme heat or heavy rain and snow. As far as plants go- they are likely to eat- or at least bite many things you could put in there- so maybe raising some seeds like wheat or grass and give them some of that for some extra greens once or twice a week. I do it for mine through winter when foraging time is reduced and they love it. I have some shallow tubs- about the size of a paint roller for seed raising and give it to the ducks when the new shoots are around 2 inches high.
 
As for shelter, we do have a coop attached to the run which they always have access to, and i think i may have to borrow your idea with the paint roller tubs for seedling, i wouldve never have thought to use that before
