It would be a lot easier to come up with ideas if you posted a few pictures to show what you have to work with.

Each morning, after I clean the night’s deposits, I “dust” the board with the PDZ. It is then good to go for the rest of the day and then for nighttime. It becomes a barrier, of sorts, for the nightly droppings. Most just roll right into a pile as I scrape, thanks to the dusting of PDZ that goes down prior to the poop.I put the PDZ down first.

Sweet PDZ, it is like a cat litter but very fine it is used in horse stalls. I use a pooper scooper daily just scoop and discard. My birds poop a lot at night and the area under the roosting bars gets very condensed with feces. I clean out the coop weekly and am going to continue to do so but in the interest of cutting down on bacterial build up id like to put something under there that i can empty out daily. Any product suggestions or home made ideas?
Thanks. I didn't want because its embarassingNo judging that is brave of you to show us that , my chickens never make such a mess..... haha!!
I still think you should attach plastic/tarp to the wall , staple it or screw it on , then attach it under the 2x4 , make two and switch them out . Easy I think ??
Good luck , yes it is shocking to see the poop running down your walls you so lovingly built for those little brats
No reason to be embarrassed, we all see it every day.I didn't want because its embarassing
Then not sure why you feel you need to do something different,Yes that is a weeks worth of poop. We dont have a fly problem or any bug problems and ive never smelled ammonia from the coop at all but i think this is because i clean it regularly.
