what to use to seal inside of coop?

I have linoleum on the floor of the coop. Nice easy cleanup each week.... just sweep and mop.

I WISH I would have also painted the inside of the coop with a good oil based paint that I could have washed.

The vinyl floor tiles worked great for me so far. Just not sure how long they will last, several years I hope. It cleans up great and makes my life easier.

I was also thinking of putting some vinyl tiles on the walls inside the coop anybody have any feelings on that? Right now I have bare wood.

I put a sheet of linoleum on the floor and curving up the wall about a foot. Then on the wall behind the roost area I put a sheet of some vinyl-type bathroom wall stuff I got from Home Depot (4 x 8) for about $16. I'm going to paint the walls inside one by one when I can finish off the run and get the kidlets out there all day later in the summer.... I think this will make things a lot easier to keep clean.... I did not have much luck with the stick-on vinyl floor tiles in our trailer that we lived in while building our house- I think with bedding it could be even harder to keep them stuck on the floor.

Painting is not a MUST, buuuuttttt......

Sure, you can move your chickies into their new coop sooner if you don't paint. And you'll be all smug and happy and you won't regret NOT painting until the first time you try to clean the coop and find that the poo doesn't want to come off bare wood. If you paint (I painted my floor too - FREE) then basic soapy water and a washcloth will be enough to remove any poo on the walls/floor and you'll be good as new.

The extra day or so that you will devote to painting your coop will PROVE to be time well spent. Just say'n.

Alright, you talked me into it! I painted the whole inside with primer and decking paint. The decking paint was in my basement and was given to me years ago. I love FREE!

I built my coop recently and I put down this rubber flooring material that they use at ice rinks, its relatively thick, and it is easily cut to fit the coop reccomend it, you can fin it at most hardware stores
