What to you do when on vacation?

My neighbor always keeps an eye on my birds from time to time, they love them and haven't had to buy any eggs for quite some time now.

My in-laws live 10 minutes away, they come and feed and water the birds in the morning and lock them up at night. Instead of paying them we let them keep all the eggs they lay while we're gone.
