What treat did your chickies get today?

I gave my girls warm oatmeal...I'm making some for them every morning since it started turning cold...I want them to have something warm.

I gave my girls some warm mash tonight before bed. They love having something warm in their tummies!

Mine got fresh pulled grass , and I filled their run with fallen leaves which they dug through for treasures all day!

Lettuce, cucumber, carrot, eggshells and potato. Yum!

Tomato cores and skins and onion ends, and a few broken crackers.

A large tote filled with fresh peat moss to bathe in. I added it here because they all had to taste it. yuck!

Warm apple/cinnamon oatmeal with Greek yogurt mixed in. I wanted some.

Warm plain oatmeal with a scrambled egg on top. I make this every morning for them.

Sunflower, safflower, sunflower hearts and some yogurt-dogfood-kefir soup. Then we had a flip-rocks-over party. I flipped the rocks, they chased down and ate everything that ran out from under them. One of the barred rocks got a five-line skink, and yesterday, someone, I forget who, had a mouse.

Potato peels, tomatoes and orange slices, oh, and some freshly picked grass, clover, and wild carrot tops.
