What treat did your chickies get today?

No extra treats today ..... my car battery is dead

and I depend on it to check on them during the day!! Sooooooooooooo.....LOL.....I opened them up/got the first eggs and got back up to the house.. then this afternoon I managed to get back down there to check eggs/close up. So they were lucky to have gotten the mealworms and crack corn that I threw in there. LOL

I just got my three black copper marans yesterday. . .they are just now starting to lay and I
did not expect any eggs today since they just got moved. . .but I did get one. I gave them
an apple, a pair of loaf end slices, some fresh green beans and scattered some seeds in the
straw for them to dig for. THey don't seem picky at all so far!

Some mealworms, cracked corn, and a new tub full of ashes... They have been so used to just taking dust baths.......you would have thought I'm put a live mine in thr coop with them !!!!
