What treat did your chickies get today?

My Chickens got cooked Corn meal and Oat bran, Cabbage and Sunflower seeds

whole, dried corn. they went CRAZY.

Mixed leaf lettuce, tomato and steak for which they were very impatient; waking me up at 05:45am demanding breakfast

I tried to make yogurt and it didn't turn out so I mixed it with some of their feed and they loved it now I have to try again!

Kitten food (it was on very special offer), plus a chicken and bacon wrap I bought from a shop and didn't like - the chicken was a mushy paste. Yuck. The girls loved it all. Their favourite treats are dried mealworms which they get every day - and the dog always insists on her share, too!

All mine get kitchen vegie scraps, garden trimmings, dug up earthworms & old sour dough bread soaked in warm water.
They just go out of control eating it. Plus laying pellets & free range grain mix mixed everyday.

new to the chicken world. Is there a food that should not be given to chickens? what about black sunflower seeds? thanks 1212

Mine got the crumbs are the bottom of the Shredded Wheat box. So far, I think their favorite treat is bell pepper, especially the seeds.
