Guard
Stand down (relax your guard)
Eat (they're not allowed to eat dinner without my say-so)
Be nice (sit/give paw for people, tentatively sniff other dogs)
Careful (stop roughhousing and get control of yourself)
Leave it
Drop it (drop the thing in your mouth into my hand)
Swimmin' (only the Newfie does this, wades out into water up to her chest)
Come around (get between guarded animal and predator)
Round em up (herd guarded animal into a pen or corner of barn)
Go get em (attack predator)
They only do most of it after being told about two or three times, though, after they have checked the type of biscuit being offered and agree that they are in the mood for obedience. The Pyrenees will do his guarding routines without being prompted much, but has selective deafness as far as "come" and "leave it" go in the presence of tasty turkey poop. The Newfie is easily distracted by other dogs.
