The first photo is of a Gold in normal colour. (Female)
The second is also a gold in fawn colour (Male?)
With most quail of this species in normal pattern (non range or whites) You can sex them by the chest marking. Females are very spotted while males are a chesnut colour and plain.
You can also vent sex these quail too, by gently pressing on the vent area, males will produce a foam, they often have a pea size bump in that area too.
You should get some nomal fawn by crossing them with cinnamons, use a gold fawn male over cinnamon hens. You won't get many as you know it's a 2-1 ratio on the golds but there is a chance you might get one or more.
