What type of animal tracks is this from?

I accidentally spilled sunflower seeds last night on my deck and I woke up and seen tracks leading up to the seeds. Any ideas??

Something for size comparison would help, but they do look like cat tracks.

well, it could be a house cat, but i dont know why he would be interested in seeds.
i wish you would have laid a quarter next to the tracks so we could gauge the size of the print.

Yep, its a cat. Their prints are normally as big as a quarter.

My guess is that it is checking out the smells from the critters that have left their scent . I have one particular spot I put grains and seeds for the wild birds and I see all kinds of critters/predators sniffing around the spot including coyotes and fox on a game camera I have there.
