What type of bantam chicken that murray mcmurray sells dosent fly well

Hi and from Ohio. So glad to have you aboard. Most of the standard birds when they mature tend not to do much flying.

Many of the non flighty bantams - silkies, cochins -- are also the most broody.

The smaller the bantam the more flighty they are. The larger the bantam, the more likely they go broody. If you want a middle, I'd go with a miniature of a dual purpose breed - RIR, Plymouth Rock or something of that nature. Good luck and welcome to BYC!
