She was bought for me by my dad as a present, he was told that she was a lavender lace? I researched that and couldn't find anything about it?

They were talking about lavender lace as the color pattern of the hen. It is not a breed name.

Here are some blue copper marans hens. You can see the resemblance, but as mentioned, no white earlobes. And this breed lays dark brown eggs.
