What type of Cochin and sex?

Hey everyone ! I’m new to this site! Just got new baby chicks the other night and wondering if anyone knows or has a guess of what type of Cochin breed this little chick is and possibly the sex too?

Hi there! Welcome to BYC! I don't know about the breed, but the chick is way to young to know the sex, unless you do vent sexing or wing feather sexing.

Not a pure Cochin. With that dark face and 5 toes I'd say its a Silkie mix.
