I have a duck and I’m not sure what type of duck she is. When we first got her we thought she was a pekin duck. However, now that she’s gotten older (she finally started laying eggs yesterday 8/19/19), she doesn’t look like any of the pics of pekin ducks. Her eggs are large and a light brown, her very first egg was a very pale brown, and her second egg is a darker shade of light brown. I came across of a pic of a Muscovy duck online that looks like our Quackers right down to the crown of black feathers on the top of her head. When she was younger her face was all white with the crown of black feathers but now her cheeks have lost the white feathers and are now red on both sides of her face.
