What type of lock do you use on your coop? Post pic, please

I've been doing double the hasp with carabiners thing -- one near the top and one near the bottom.

I don't remember why we did that on the Little Monitor Coop but I did it on the Run-to-Brooder Conversion because the door doesn't hang quite right and I worried that a raccoon could get a paw in at the bottom and start prying.

You can see here why I didn't trust just one latch, but the door is secure with both in place.

Nope.
If you go into a secure coop or run, with small mesh that you can't reach thru, and that latch does it's 'auto-latch' thing and the operating string breaks, you are stuck in there.
Have read more than a few stories about this happening.

Mine is on the upper part where it’s 2x4 fence but yes I could surely see someone having an issue
