What type of moth is this?

gorgeous moths we had one get in our house and it had died they die after breeding. I love the green and the name Luna Moth

Luna Moth. We have alot of those here this past week. Unfortunately the only ones I find have no body. The wings lay neatly in the driveway. They must be one of the bats' favorite meals!

Maple...not sure I could use my rusty scalpel on this beauty, though! Even if I DO have the glow-in-the-dark sutures!

Okay, guys - so, I looked at the Luna Moth caterpillar online...it looks eerily like a huge, fat tomato worm! I HOPE I'm wrong, as I had issues with those awful things last year....and no, my chickens won't eat them, the finicky things!

A lovely Moth (did I say that as I loathe bugs!) I thought it was a swallow tail moth type thingy bug........

Yeah, there's a reason it looks alike.... they also eat tomato leaves, but the cats lack the horn of a hornworm.

edit: hornworm moths are brown and huge, lay lime green eggs in singles.
