Hmmm. She had all pure bred chickens kept separated, but he was just out walking around, not in a specific cage so that is certainly possible. I remember her saying something about him being a dark egg layer though, still going on the premise that it was a female.Crossbred. He doesn't fit any pure bred exactly.
