What type of waterer for chicks raised with flock?

I'm expecting chicks any day now. I have a bucket with horizontal nipples in the coop. Will mom teach them to drink from that waterer or should i put a chick waterer in the coop?

Chicks can use nipples - I would just watch to be sure mama bird does her job in showing them and that you see each chick using them well.

My 2 day old chicks too right to vertical nipples. See no reason the horizontals would be any different. I tapped on the nipples eith my finger a few times to get their attention, and shortly after they had the hang of it
