I have a broody hen that is currently is sitting on fertilized eggs.
She came out for water and food and dropped this.
I have never seeing anything like this with my hens before. She is good and seems healthy. She has been wormed 3 months ago.
Will her babies be affected as well?
Any advice will be much appreciated.
Thank you

It's a roundworm. The eggs will be fine.
You can worm her with Safeguard, Wazine (if you can find it) or Pyrantyl Pamoate. She will need to be wormed again in 7 to 10 days with whichever drug you use.

What wormer did you use 3 months ago?
Use Safeguard liquid goat wormer or Valbazen liquid cattle sheep wormer to worm her. I also recommend worming all your other birds as well.

Zooming in I can see capillaria (the small and thin ones) as well, so best choose a de-wormer that will kill both kinds.

And yes, the chicks would be effected if this issue is not taken care of immediately.

I used Piperazine Solution.
Thank you. I will worm them all
