What varriety Roo (marans?)

    I don't think it is a marans. It is probably some mixed breed, wheatens would have a black breast, body and tail.

    I agree with the black coloring however he has some grey to black comming in on his chest and lower down. Could this color just be comming in late. [​IMG]

    Ok o I went out and looked at the feet and legs which I had not done. They are feathered on the outside and the feathers are dark grey or black. If this helps...
