This is Noodle. She passed away on January 25, 2018. She was one of my four hens at the time.
I never learned what kind of chicken she was, but my family always speculated that she was either an EE with weird coloration, an Iowa Blue, or a Silver Phoenix. I only have photos of her as a juvenile, but I’ll do my best to share some of her characteristics.
I don’t know if it was common to her breed, but she was very independent and courageous- bordering on aggressive at times. She had a short comb, either a pea comb or a rose comb. She was hefty- the largest of all my birds, and quite athletic. Her eggs were a pale brownish green and were medium sized.
I hope I offered enough information. I’d love to know what kind of chicken she was! Thanks for any and all help that can be offered.

Thank you both so much! I thought that’s what she could have been, but I just wanted some closure. I hope to find another like her this spring, fingers crossed. It’s still so upsetting to me, but it’s a relief to confirm what she is. Thanks again!
My EEs are the friendliest chicken in my flock. I can understand your fondness for them. Noodle was adorable! ❤️
