What was your first car??

My first car was a 1976 Chevy Chevette, Fire Engine Red! I got it the year PRINCE came out with the song Little Red Corvette. I used to sing Little Red Chevette! LOL! Then, I decided I wanted a car with a stick-shift. I got a Honda Civic. It was Orange. I drove it until the whole exhaust system rusted out. I have had several cars since then, but now have a 2007 Pontiac Vibe that I love!

driving it around. I was a JR in high school and it wasn't like it is now where everyone has a car. I was "the girl"n the red Cougar.

1969 Pontiac LeMans. Still have it. DH was putting a rebuilt 389 in it and kind of got distracted....7 years ago... and still waiting....

1977 Buick Regal. Red with a white Landau roof.
It could pull my 2 horse trailer with no problem.

My favorite car is a toss up. I LOVED my first husbands 1967 Camaro convertible. Had that when we lived in NC. Fun Fun Fun car. I learned a lot about engines etc with that car. Then there was my 1969 Camaro coupe. I rebuilt her from the frame up while working part time at a donut shop.

Boy this thread brings back memories lol. What a boat that sucker was, I was forever scraping my knuckles on the stupid license plate, you had to pull it down to get to the gas tank.
 
Mine was a '79 brown and black Mustang. It was a stick shift, which I never learned to drive lol. I promised I would if my dad would get it for me (think it was $800). My bf even got the car repainted silver and black for me and I still never learned to drive it. He drove it whenever we went somewhere.

A year later I traded it in on a brand new, black cherry '88 Dodge Daytona w/ t-tops.

Geez if you ask me for my favorie car that would be a 1969 Dodge Charger or that Chevy or whatever that is half car and half truck (its a old car) or if i had the money again, i would but a WW2 Willies Jeep Hotchkiss or a 2CV. I have a thing for weird little ugly cars. My hubby would go for a AMC Gremlin with a V8 or a old Chevette.​
