what wattage light bulbs?

pretty simple question

im building an incubator, nearly finished, just wondering what wattage lightbulb to use? thanks

It would depend on how big the incubator is... the larger the incubator, the higher the wattage needed to maintain the heat.

its about a metre long and half a metre deep so maybe a 75 watt bulb?

I am using a large hard plastic cooler and a 40 watt bulb. Yours sounds bigger, I'd try a 50 or maybe 60 watt. I've heard that if the wattage is too high you get more temp variance.
