what wattage light bulbs?

    im building an incubator, nearly finished, just wondering what wattage lightbulb to use? thanks [​IMG]

    It would depend on how big the incubator is... the larger the incubator, the higher the wattage needed to maintain the heat.

    its about a metre long and half a metre deep so maybe a 75 watt bulb?

    I am using a large hard plastic cooler and a 40 watt bulb. Yours sounds bigger, I'd try a 50 or maybe 60 watt. I've heard that if the wattage is too high you get more temp variance.
