First hatch with shipped eggs, 4 out of 8 were viable, all of those eggs hatched, but 1 died shortly after hatching.
I know there's 101 things that can go wrong, but I'm just wondering if there's something I can do if this happens again/ to prevent it.
It was the last to hatch, yolk fully absorbed but there was quite a bit of blood in the shell. Lots of blood in all the shells actually, but all hatched with out help and are fine. The chick seemed to be a bit bigger then the rest, but also came from the biggest egg. When I picked it up (after death) I noted that the body and bones seemed far too soft and pliable.
Anything I can do to avoid this in the future? I'm wondering if this can be caused by too high humidity.
