What were shows you watched when you were a kid?

Yep, and right before that came on there was Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. I also loved the ABC After school specials. Oh no, a joint! She's pregnant, etc.

My favorite one was on puberty. I think it was really well done. My nephew was about 4. He didn't really understand what it was about, but he went on for about 2 weeks boinking folks on the head saying "It's the Puberty Fairy!"

Not me. I must ge really old! Most of thos shows are what my nephew and his friends watched. I knew some of those shows were on but just didn't watch them because they were for younger kids My nephew and his buddy, took the names of the A-Team on summer and that is all they played and watched.

I remember when Sesame Street Started and when Mr. Hooper passed away, when only Big Big could see Snuffy.

Mr. Rogers Neighborhood is where all the dids felts safe.

When I was real REAL little, I have vague memories of some program on TV called "It's About Time", about some astronauts that got sent back in time and had to deal with a bunch of cave people or something... it was a sitcom but wasn't on for very long.

I was a HUGE fan of I Dream Of Jeannie, The Flying Nun, and Bewitched.

Friday nights were big in our house when I was a youngling. We had The Partridge Family, the Brady Bunch, The Odd Couple, something else I don't remember, and then Love American Style.

Learned way too much about adult themes way too young watching Love American Style.

My parents watched all the detective shows--Mannix, Cannon, Barnaby Jones, The Streets of San Francisco, Hart To Hart.

I was a huge fan of the TV variety shows but ESPECIALLY The Carol Burnett Show and The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour. We watched Hee-Haw, and my dad used to watch Porter Wagner & Dolly Parton.

I kind of remember that show.

We changed the words to "it's about time, it's about space, it's about time I slapped your face."

Yeah I know

Watched Tom Jones with my mom and OMG what was his name???...........had a dog puppet on it. Varity show?? That once wasn't Glen Cambell was it?

Remember when you had to wait a whole year per season to watch Charlie Brown? They were specials!

One of my favorites was F Troop............That's what my cousin used to call me and my kids. LOL

Adams Family and the Munsters.

Watched Death Valley Days, Maverick, Cheyenne, Bonanza, Rifleman, Have Gun Will Travel, mostly with my parents, but my favorite western back then was The Guns Of Will Sonnet.

So many shows listed on here that you have say OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YEAH!!!!

Can't forget Happy Day's and Lavern and Shirley.

Charlie's Angels

The Cisco Kid

The Lone Ranger

Beverly Hillbillies

Was coming in to post another one and now I forget. The shows I watched should be explaination enough as to why.

Yep! It's in my monster list up there.

We didn't always watch ALL of those shows I listed. I remember watching them occasionally as a kid. We didn't always own a T.V., but when we did, we went hog wild watching T.V.

I also remember watching Battle Star Gallactica, Tarzan, Leave It To Beaver, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Days of Our Lives when mom thought us kids were napping

Oh and Quantum Leap!! loved that show!!

I almost forgot about Land of the Lost and the cartoon Inspector Gadget

When we had t.v. in the house, our baby sitter used it to "baby sit" us. If mom was home, we only got to watch SOME t.v. Usually we only had a t.v. when someone gave us one due to wrongfully thinking Mom couldn't afford one. I can't tell ya'll how many times mom would GIVE AWAY our t.v. so we'd have to entertain ourselves, and then some good hearted person would GIVE US a t.v.

Mom finally gave up on not having a t.v. in the house
