What will a processed Barred Rock look like?

Neutered dogs are said to grow taller too, due to a delay in closure of the growth plates.
But I believe they normally just have longer legs and are not necessarily larger overall.
So a capon would be taller and have more fat due to a lack of testosterone, that makes sense. But do they end up with a bigger frame and more muscle mass as well?
I think the idea is that a capon can keep growing without getting gamey and as tough as a cockerel, because of the lack of testosterone. I don't think they'd necessarily end up much meatier, but it allows you to have them grow bigger without being tougher, comparably.

Thanks, that's what I would have thought. Then some people say they do get significantly larger. I suppose it's one of those things you have to try and see for yourself how it goes with your own cockerels.

I mean, I'm certainly no expert. I've never raised a capon. They may indeed get larger than a regular male. Or they may just be fattier. Be interesting if some people that have raised them would chime in.

I haven’t raised one side by side but a lot of the older poultry books (actually almost all sources) do mention that capons do grow larger and weigh more than a regular rooster.

I don't think the fact that a capon will be larger than a regular male is really in question, but my question would be is the weight difference going to be in muscle weight or in fat weight? I don't have any desire for an extra fatty bird.
