what will happen if my still air is at 99

hey my still air bator has been at 99 for the first four days and im trying to bring it up to 100-101 but will anything have happened because of the 99 degrees for the first four days. will it slow down the hatching process? can i continue at 100?

I would not go over a 100 degrees. 99.5 is where you want to keep it at. Higher temperature does not necessarily hatch them sooner. I also have a still air incubator and at 99.5 they hatch right on day 21 and sometimes even start pipping on day 20.

Still air should be 101-102, circulated is 99.5

Agreed... I have a HovaBator still air and I keep it between 101.3-102.5... The OP can expect a late hatch with temps that low for that long, as I had the same experience

Get it back where it needs to be.. The only way your going to truly know if when you candle at day 18... You may or may not have a late hatch, hard to determine until then.

They probably would just be late. If their internal temperature isn't 99.5, then they develop slower. Internal temperature in still air incubation isn't usually what external temperature is.
